I've joined this club because it is absolutely vital to spread the climate crisis message as widely as possible.
People need to understand, to learn why things must change and to realize that we can only avoid major disasters if we and governments act immediately.
A number of sustainability professionals have joined this group.
Sustainable Speakers will help us consolidate our speaking skills and take the message to an even wider audience.

Since joining the club I discovered that it's full of people who are passionate about the planet and sustainability.
I can't wait to continue my journey and using any information obtained to pass onto those in my circle of influence.
The meetings have been extremely well run and I feel inspired after each meeting which is the beauty of Toastmasters.

This club is special because it brings together changemakers who are passionate about creating a healthy planet that we and our descendants can continue to enjoy.
Comprised of an international community of experienced Toastmasters, Guinness World Record holders, and even TED speakers, I have seen this club shine in its speaking and discussions.

In my opinion, we all need support.
We all have a unique skillset and can contribute if we put our minds to it.
We need to have clear communication to get the sustainability message out that something needs to be done to save us and soon.
That is what the club is for, and I hope a lot more.

As a researcher in the field of sustainability, I am very interested in finding out the financial impact of sustainability on individuals, organizations, and the community.
With this motive, I joined Sustainable Speakers to learn from the different members and exchange information on different topics of sustainability.
Having attended 2 of the club's meetings, my experience thus far has been positive, and I strongly believe that with the diversity of members, my learning will continue in this club.
I am looking forward to more meetings with exciting themes and discussions on relevant topics that the world needs to know!

Thanks to the Speechcraft initiative / am a step nearer my purpose.
Speechcraft initiative is a very good way to know people that are sharing values and/or opinions about a topic, in this case, Sustainability.
So, one can get to know alike people, but are part of something bigger, an alike-thought community.

I joined Sustainable Speakers Club because it presents an exciting opportunity for me to not only spread awareness about environmental issues but also to enhance and refine my communication skills.
I have found the club to be a vibrant community, with contagious energy and filled with members who inspire and motivate one another.

The learning was not limited to just speechmaking, complimentary skills of hosting, listening, making introductions and timekeeping were also showcased to enhance the participants proficiency and competence in transmitting and receiving information.

As a digital junkie I am painfully aware of how much energy I use in my daily life.
Joining this club might nudge the guilt further to mitigate the consequent emissions.

This club is a great group of sustainability leaders and from a great mix of backgrounds and activities.
It is a great safe space to get feedback on your communication messages, be inspired by others and share knowledgeable
information and tips.

New members are quickly encouraged to take on roles, receive feedback, and participate in Table Topics, which helps them gain confidence early on. The club also appears to have a mentoring culture, where experienced members
provide guidance.

It is very interesting and certainly something I would like to
join. I think for me it is something completely out of my comfort zone, but I know that is where I will find growth.
Speaking/ evaluation skills are certainly something I want to improve as well so thank you for letting me join as guest to get a feel of
it.

One of the great things I enjoyed is the 'after eight' special where members/guests stay online and have a chat, ask questions, and just creates an atmosphere of a community, even though it's online, there is a strong mentorship programme and the VPE is very supportive and encourages
others to step into their potential.

Sustainable Speakers is an online Toastmasters club with a specific focus – sustainability.
Not only do you get the Toastmasters experience of Table Topics, Speeches and Evaluations you also get informed by knowledgeable speakers on various aspects of sustainability.
The night I was General Evaluator (GE) the meeting was well run, great speeches and excellent evaluations.
Definitely worth a visit.

Sustainable speakers is a fantastic, professionally run, online club in which participants can practice public speaking in a friendly environment whilst learning about the important topic of sustainability.
I have visited the club on a number of occasions and found the speeches very educational and inspirational.
It's a great opportunity to meet people from around the globe too.

My third visit to the online club, this last time as a General Evaluator, was more than just an opportunity to observe and give feedback, it was an opportunity to learn and grow.
This club is of a very high standard with a hunger and enthusiasm to channel its focus on sustainability.

It comes as no surprise that the club is visited by so many guests and attracts new members.
